Cleveland Heights Down Payment Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire

Home Repair Resource Center (HRRC) partners with the City of Cleveland Heights to facilitate the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded down payment assistance program (CHDPA). As the only HUD-certified counseling agency in the city, HRRC takes on the responsibilities of offering the required HUD-certified homebuyer education course, calculating the benefit an eligible homebuyer qualifies for, as well as processing the funds needed to successfully complete the mortgage loan transaction. Eligible homebuyers may see varying amounts of assistance, subject to an overall limit set by program guidelines. HRRC facilitates all steps required for the down payment assistance program and has successfully administered the program in cooperation with the City of Cleveland Heights since 2014.
